St Maarten Fishing Charters ♦ Simpson Bay and Phillipsburg
Announcing a new Location, two new additions to the Fleet.
We recently launched a new partnership with Captain Ron at Reel Charters SXM to begin offering Fishing Charters out of Phillipsburg. This brings two additional fishing boats into the Coconut Reef fleet. Both vessels are equally well equipped as our flagship, Blu Bi U. They have the added advantage of being stationed outside our lagoon with unlimited access to the open seas. We can now offer even greater access to St Maarten Fishing for our Cruise Ship guests and shorter travel time for our guests from the north side of the island.

You can call us anytime for advice, directions, recommendations, etc, regarding anything about your reservation, local fishing conditions, or just Sint Maarten in general.
Our charters tend to fill up quickly, especially during high season (DEC through AUG), so we may not be able to accommodate the dates you want. We highly recommend booking any boat trip as early as possible during your stay. You’ll have a better chance to reschedule should the weather or other issues make your first option unavailable.
Should your first choice of departure not be available, we will always do our best to find you an alternate berth on one of several partner operators we trust and recommend.
Our Charter Tours
Deep Sea Fishing - Half Day
Our short-haul, 5 hour fishing charter is for those with limited time on their hands. We range just a few miles off the coast. The emphasis is more on deep dropping in up to 350m of water or reef fishing for the more exotic species. Great for the casual angler or families!
Deep Sea Fishing - 3Q Day
For the more serious anglers, our 7 hour charter gives us a little more time to range further out into more productive fishing grounds. We also have more time to mix it up with our methods – you’ll have to combine trolling, jigging or bottom fishing.
Deep Sea Fishing - Full Day
For the truly serious angler, our full day, 9 hour fishing charter gives you the opportunity to get out chasing the big game fish – Wahoo, Mahi, Tuna to name a few. We can also mix it up with some deep dropping and other bottom fishing. If there’s something you really want to go after, let us know and we’ll do our best to make it happen. It’s your charter!

Drinks included
Ample Fresh Water, Local Beers and popular soft drinks included on all our Fishing Charters. Light snacks also available.
Comfortable boat
Our flagship vessel, Blu Bi U, is a 38ft Power Cat with a 14ft beam (width). Much more stable and comfortable than your typical monohull.
Share the catch
Take home your own share of the day’s catch. Our crew will clean and prepare your catch for transport back to your hotel/resort. We can also provide suggestions on local eateries that will prepare your fish for a delicious meal.
Professional gear
Charters include the use of professional-grade fishing gear, tackle and bait. Feel free to bring your favorite battle gear if you like, but we have all the right stuff for our local waters and conditions.
